TEC gate valves are designed to successfully meet customer demands for performance, endurance, ease of maintenance and cost-effectiveness. TEC valves meet or exceed the requirements of API Specifications 6A, 6A SSV/USV and 17D with working pressures from 2, 000 to 20, 000 psi. The trims come in for all types of oil and gas service. These valves are available in sizes from 2 1/6" to 4 1/6", in a temperature range from -60 deg. C to +120 deg. C (-75 deg. F to +250 deg. F), and qualifies by API 6A PR2 App F.

The floating seat allows bi-directional use, quick and easy field repair and low torque for opening/closing. The one-piece precision-machined floating slab gate utilizes floating seats that co-opt line pressure to supply the sealing force. Excessive force is not required for closing and sealing and smooth operation can be assured during extreme thermal cycles. Selective Backseat provides unparalleled safety during venting, lubrication, allows stem packing replacement without removing valve from service. A routine maintenance program keeps repairs to a minimum, and vital valve components may be replaced when necessary without the use of special tools.

Inert, spring-loaded, pressure-energized lip seals which are installed between each seat and body. These seals assist in low-pressure sealing and protect the body and seal areas from particle contaminants.

Provides unparalleled safety during venting, lubrication, and stem packing replacement
Premature backseating is prevented by a positive stop in the bearing cap that controls stem travel.
This design feature also protects the metal-to-metal sealing surface

Highlights

Since oil well drilling conditions are becoming more and more hostile with high pressure and highly corrosive environment, oilfield equipments demand advanced design and materials. TEC has developed many equipments and tools for high-pressure and/or high-corrosion applications.

Wellhead/Tree production and Pressure Control equipments and components are engineered for operating pressure up to 20, 000 PSI, PSL1~4, PR1~2. Besides conventional design, we have developed advanced products, for example Solid Block X-mas Tree system, which has less leak paths to withstand greater external forces. We are able to produce equipments for Sulfide Service in compliance with NACE MR 01-75. We have developed many kinds of CRA products for extremely corrosive environment, such as Inconel 718 Tubing Hanger, Incoloy 825 Sealing Ring, Inconel 625 Ring Joint Gaskets, Hastelloy Flange, Incoloy 825 Hydraulic Control Line, Incoloy 825 Sliding Sleeve, to name a few.

All of our Downhole Completion Tools are designed for maximum erosion resistance and all are 10, 000 PSI differentially rated. TEC's Tubing Retrievable Subsurface Safety Valve is developed to 3S (anti-sulfur stress fracture operation) downhole operational mode as stated in API standard.

Manufacturing Abilities/Quality Control

Producing processes of some special equipments and components are very difficult to control, such as those in Compact Design, and those made of special alloy (Inconel, Incoloy, Hastelloy etc. ) for Sulfide Service. Such cases are exactly where our power is manifested.

We have extensive forging and machining experience for those components, such as Solid Block Valve (over 12 tons, for Solid block X-mass Tree as mentioned above) and our CRA products (Inconel 718 Tubing Hangers, 400Kg etc., as mentioned above); And we also have produced many high quality drilling tools by well controlled forging process. Therefore, whatever your needed products are, we know exactly how to select good raw material, to closely controlled remelting procedures, to do the exact time-temperature-forging cycles, and to control the forging ratios, we know when and how to perform a rigorous inspection to avoid any structural defects. By the experiences and quality control process, as well as our in-depth understanding of the API and other related standards, we are able to ensure the final product with superior metallurgical properties and thus a maximum strength, toughness and corrosion resistance.

Another example of our manufacturing ability is to produce tubular products made of high strength steel X80, for API 5L Line Pipes, Risers etc. Which has properties of high yield strength, high tensile strength, high elongation and high impact etc. And therefore is very difficult to process.

Yet another example is, for corrosion services, technology of Weld Cladding with CRA, which is applied to equipment such as Wellhead/Tree, chokes, valves, Blowout Preventers etc. We are able to produce a weld deposit of consistent high quality and depth with close dimensional tolerances and surface finish of 500 microns.
