1. This valve uses hydraulic pressure in pipeline to make main valve disc moving up and down, to control valve's opening and to adjust the pressure at lower stream, thus making the pressure at lower stream in the preset value of pilot valve spring. When the pressure at lower stream exceeds the preset value, pressure reducing valve will close automatically. No matter how the flow at lower stream changes, it can maintain the outlet in the preset value of pilot valve. Meanwhile, the outlet pressure, which is adjusted by pilot valve, boasts of a large range of adjustment, up to 10-80% of front pressure of valve.
2. This valve is usually used in daily, fire-fighting and industrial awater supply system.
