Flush valve opens when line pressure drop below 2.5PSI. The flush valve can be installed at the end of 1/2" mainline tubing or at a low point in the middle of a line.
When installed at the bottom of a filter it automatically flushes sediment from it.
When installing dripper or sprayers in hanging baskets it is a good idea to install a flush valve into the vertical feed line a foot or so below the horizontal feed line . This wil prevent prolonged dripping into the baskets.
