Safety / Pressure Relif Valves V&c Presssure relief valves are designed to release automatically over pressure either from boilers, pressure vessels or other piping systems once the pressure or temperature exceeds preset limits. Pressure relief valves have bodies from carbon steel to alloyed steel and may be used for any type of fluid (gas, steam or water). Such valves can be used as a safety valve or a relief valve depending on the application.
