BYK44X Flow control valve is ideal for limiting the flow to a pre-determined maximum (via maintaining a continuous pressure differential across an orifice).When the pressure differential is less than the set-point, the valve opens, allowing flow to meet predetermined demand. At the desired maximum set-point, the pilot reacts to small changes in sensing pressure and controls the main valve position by modulating the pressure above the diaphragm. When the pressure drop across the orifice exceeds the set-point, the valve closes slightly, limiting the flow to the pre-set maximum. The orifice is usually sized to generate a pressure differential at the desired flow. Adjusting the pilot setting permits the maximum flow to be changed in the field above or below the original point.

WORKING PRINCIPAL:
1.This valve adjust and maintain at a preset maximum flow at the outlet, regardless how the upstream and downstream pressure changes. This valve is used to regulate the flow from the pump to pipeline or irrigation system or the flow from the main channel to the second pipe network system.
2.When the flow rate through the orifice plate is increased, the pressure differential across the orifice plate increases, the pressure is added to the pilot valve spring, leading main valve approach to the closed position, the flow gradually decreases and reaches the set value.
3.When the flow rate through the orifice plate is decreased, the pressure differential across the orifice plate decreases, the effect of pilot valve spring leads the pilot valve open, the flow gradually increases and reaches the set value.
