ANSI Globe Valve
Description
ANSI globe valve falls into the same category as flange globe valve. The difference lies in the fact that its closing part is valve body, which revolves around the center line to achieving the opening and closing effects. Gate valve is mainly used in pipeline for the purpose of cutting off, distributing and changing the flow direction of media. Two-piece ball valve and three-piece ball valve are new-generation valve widely applied in recent years.
Main characteristics:
1. Small flow resistance, with the resistance coefficient equal to that of the pipe of the same length.
2. Simple structure, small volume and light weight.
3. Reliable sealing, plastics is widely used as the sealing face of gate valve currently, good sealing performance. It has been widely used in vacuum system.
4. Easy to operate, quick to open and close, a rotation of 90° is enough from full open to full closing, suitable for remote control.
5. Easy maintenance, simple structure, generally moveable sealing ring, convenient disassemble and replacement.
6. In full opening or closing, the sealing face of sphere and seat is isolated from the media. The media will not cause erosion of the sealing face of the valve when passing through it.
7. Wide scope of application, nominal diameter ranges from several millimeters to several meters. It can be applied to high vacuum and high pressure.
