The position of the valve plug determines the

The upstream pressure to be controlled (ex-cess pressure) is transferred over the at-tached control line (11) and acts on the oper -ating diaphragm (6.1). This pressure is con-verted into a positioning force, which is bal-anced by the force of the spring assem-bly (8).
In the event that the operating dia-phragm (6.1) ruptures, the safety dia-phragm (6.2) takes over its function and
Opens the valve. This state is indicated by the
Diaphragm rupture indicator (12) or an in -spection bore in the actuator.
